The LAC’s Director, Associate Director, Staff Psychologist, and the Counseling Graduate Assistants are available for academic counseling with students who wish to improve their scholastic performance. Individual academic counseling encourages students to strengthen their study skills, time management, note-taking, test preparation, and reading speed and comprehension. Each counseling session is tailored to meet the student’s needs and goals. Academic counselors can assist students in setting up learning plans. Meeting with counselors on a regular basis is effective in monitoring and encouraging academic progress and success.
